Our review of Resistance Museum

Resistance during Second World War

The Resistance museum is an excellent museum about the resistance in the Netherlands against the Germans during the second world war. How the Dutch behaved during the 5 years of occupation? That question is central in this museum. To adapt, to collaborate or to participate?

Clear line in the exhibition

The Resistance museum gives an example of the developing of the resistance during the war. The exhibition consists of among other authentic objects, images, sound recordings and photos. The whole is well documented and there is a clear line in the exhibition so the visitor is guided by the museum.

You are pushed to think about the war

The exhibition is entertaining and varied. This is good for the visitor to form a picture of the life during the Second World War and the choices they had to make. And the visitor is pushed to think about the war.
The Resistance museum connects well to the Anne Frank House. Allow plenty of time for this museum. You are busy certainly about 1.5 hours.
