'Canal house with most beautiful garden open to public.'
Beautifully decorated 17th century building with a beautiful garden. Nice to walk through. Because little information is given about the house, the experience becomes more detached.
- beautiful canal house
- very nice garden

Our review of Museum Geelvinck Hinlopen House

Canal house with the most beautiful garden

This beautiful 17th century canal house is open to the public. The museum Geelvinck Hinlopen house has the most beautiful garden of all canal houses that you can visit. The entrance is on the Keizersgracht, but the House is situated on the Herengracht.

Little background information

The Museum Geelvinck Hinlopen House is a well decorated house, but there is unfortunately little background information given. You see nice furnished rooms, but this lets you experience the house less. Also a pity that only the first floor open to visitors. This gives a somewhat disappointing feeling. Nevertheless, the House itself and especially the garden can charm you.
