Our review of Museumplein
The Museumplein is a huge city square with adjacent grass field. Once the world exhibition of 1883 was held here. The square borders, the Rijksmuseum
, Van Goghmuseum
en Stedelijk Museum
. Thatís why the name of the square is museumplein (square).
Lot of possibillities
The Museumplein by its size offers many possibilities. You can drink a cup of coffee on one of the terraces. Hiking and sports such as football. And picnic in the grass is also possible. On the South side is a super market. It is not such a special square you have to visit, but probably you see the Museumplein anyway because of its central location. And then it's certainly not a setback.
