Our review of Museumplein

Huge square

The Museumplein is a huge city square with adjacent grass field. Once the world exhibition of 1883 was held here. The square borders, the Rijksmuseum, Van Goghmuseum en Stedelijk Museum. Thatís why the name of the square is museumplein (square).

Lot of possibillities

The Museumplein by its size offers many possibilities. You can drink a cup of coffee on one of the terraces. Hiking and sports such as football. And picnic in the grass is also possible. On the South side is a super market. It is not such a special square you have to visit, but probably you see the Museumplein anyway because of its central location. And then it's certainly not a setback.
