'Small, charming square surrounded by characteristic old buildings.'
Cute and charming square in the center. Looks less touristy than for example Leidseplein. Sufficient terraces and every Friday used bookmarket.
Our review of Spui
Square in downtown
This fun, small square is situated right in the centre of the city. Between Rokin and Spui Straat. Surrounds by characteristic old buildings, cobblestones on the ground and scattered trees which looks Spui snug and cozy.Shame about the tram that comes regularly.
Donít feel touristy
Spui has enough restaurants, which feel less 'touristy' than for example Leidseplein. In addition, there are several bookstores around the square. And every Friday thereís a used bookmarket.
Fine resting point
Furthermore, the Spui nothing special. But it is a great place with good atmosphere just to stretch the legs and a drink on the terrace. Or in case of bad weather naturally within.
